The Hunter Residence is the most extensively documented project in his archive. Across its fifty years, Hunter remained its sole architect, sole client, and sole resident. The working file he kept of its drawings is the principal subject of this Foundation.

Formation
[Placeholder] Section in development. Will trace Hunter's training, the influence of the American organic school — Frank Lloyd Wright, Bruce Goff — and of the drawings of Erich Mendelsohn. Material drawn from the CAA biographical record, the Renegades volume from the Oklahoma School Architecture Press, and primary correspondence held in the archive.
