Archive
A structured catalogue of drawings, photographs, correspondence, and related materials assembled from six source collections — hosted on Wikibase and openly queryable through SPARQL and a JSON API. 147 items spanning 1970 — 2020.
The Hunter House Archive is maintained as a Wikibase graph — items, properties, and statements stored in the open-source structured-data platform that underlies Wikidata. This site reads from it directly.
The archive draws from six collections of varied provenance — two institutional, four held by individuals connected to Hunter's life and practice.
Items are classified by type, by use, by built status, and by the project set they belong to. Areas of the house are tagged from a hierarchical vocabulary of thirty-five terms. The same item may appear in multiple indexes — locatable by date, area, phase, drawing type, or project set.
The archive is hosted on Wikibase, the open-source structured-data platform that underlies Wikidata. Items, properties, and statements are stored as a graph and queried via SPARQL or a JSON API. The Foundation maintains its instance at hunterhouse.wikibase.cloud; this site reads from it directly.
Image files are released under a Public — Hunter House Foundation license unless an individual item carries different rights metadata. Researchers wishing to consult high-resolution master files or unpublished collections should contact the project lead.
